ByteHosting, the hosting firm run by James Reno, and linked to Innovative Marketing’s fraudulent marketing tactics, has settled with the FTC.
The settlement includes a $.8 million judgment and injunctions against further sleazy/scareware marketing. The agreement also includes reporting requirements for the next five years.
